I can confirm that there was the Oddfellows Beer House at 34 Caves Road, St
Leonards on Sea (Not to be confused with the Oddfellow's Arms at 397 Old
London Road, Ore, Hastings). The Oddfellows closed in 1906 along with the
British Hotel, Mercatoria, St Leonards on Sea (not yet listed) and the
Lugger, 14a East Parade which is listed in some documents as being in West
Street. West Street runs behind and more or less parallel to East Parade.
The Lugger was on a narrow site and therefore in
both streets at once). ***
