St Leonards pub history index
Originally the Saxon Shades until about 1884. This is the Yorkshire Grey until at least 1915, and became the Admiral Benbow in 1995. I have no idea what this closed down pub is used for today, nor do I know who took the decision to repaint this attractive old pub in such a truly dreadful colour. ***
