James Frederick Ashdown Married Alice Everitt in Edgbaston in 1892, In 1895 they are at a beer house at 254 Broad street and by 1899 they appear to be here at the Anchor Inn.  By 1903 they are running a beer house at 25 - 27 Phillips street, Aston Brook until about 1913. In 1915, they are at the New Inns, Berners street. Latterly by 1930 they are at the Unicorn, Digbeth street. He morts in 1937. *
