My grandfather, William John Askew DCM, was landlord in 1922.
Discharge papers from the Coldstream Guards as Corporal in July 1916 list his address as the Junction Hotel, Bloomburg, Birmingham.
He moved to the Junction from The Bridge Inn, Mill Street, Kidderminster where he was in 1917.
In 1925 he moved to be the licencee of Atkinsons Plume of Feathers, Stratford Road, Shirley, Warwickshire.
