Salisbury pub history index
On CAMRA's national inventory of pub interiors of outstanding historic interest, this 14th Century building was originally used as church house for St. Thomas's, with later usage as that of a brothel. The three small bars are known locally as 'the Horsebox', 'Death Row' and the 'House of Lords'. Recorded as being an inn from the 16th Century, at one time the original chop house.
