The magistrates refused to renew the license to Mr Smith, keeper of the Black Horse public house, Fossgate.

William Pratt was charged with stealing two brass taps from Mr Edward Hughes, of the Black Horse, Fossgate. The prosecutor not appearing the prisoner was discharged.
