York, Old Established Public House for sale by Private Contract.
This highly desirable Property, called the Blacksmith's Arms, situate in Swinegate, in the City of York, consists of a commodious and substantially built Dwelling House, with an excellent brew-House, Yard, Cellars, Store Rooms, Pump of excellent Water, and every other requisite convenience.
Business had been carried out on in these Premises during the last 20 years with the greatest success: -
this Circumstance, combined with the eligibility of the Situation, (being the very Centre of the City), renders the Property a most advantageous Investment, either for a Person desirous of entering himself into Business, or for a more Capitalist, as an excellent Rent may always be relied upon.
The whole is Freehold, and in excellent Repair, and in the possession of Mr John Thickett, the Owner, who is now about to retire from Business.

York Valuable Public House to be sold by Auction -
All that Old Established and Truly Valuable Public-House called or known by the sign of "the Blacksmith's Arms", situate at the Corner of Swinegate and Church street, and very near to the Market Places in York, with the Brew House and other Buildings and Yard, adjoining and belonging thereto, in the occupation of Mr John Wilkinson. To the House is attached a Dram-Shop, in which a most extensive Business has been transacted for many years past.
This Property has been long justly considered one of the very best situated and most profitable Establishments of the kind in the City of York.

Awfully Sudden Death - Mr John Wilkinson, landlord of "the Blacksmith's Arms", public-house in Swinegate, in this City, expired very suddenly last evening.
