York Pubs history

One of six pubs opened in what was to become Fawcett street in the new cattle market which opened outside the walls in 1827. The premises included a brewery when put up for sale in 1857. It was at the corner of Victoria street, and became the Woolpack at 6 Fawcett street, by 1867. *HM
