Wilful damage and assault - John Gallagher jun of Long Close lane, a labourer, failed to appear, was summoned for an assault on Charles L Brown, landlord of the Glassmakers Arms, the Cattle Market, and also with wilfully breaking a plate glass window in the complainants house, doing damage to the amount of 3s 6d. As a previous assault had occurred, he was committed to the Castle for 21 days and ordered to pay for the damage.
