Deaths. On Monday, the 15th instance, after a long and painful illness, aged 65, Mr William English, late of the Leopard public house, Shambles, in this city.

Great Shambles, York. TO BR SOLD BY AUCTION, BY Mr. WALKER, On the Premises, on MONDAY, the 2nd Day of April next, at SIX o'Clock in the Evening, (unless previously Disposed of by Private Contract,) ALL that Substantially-Built and Old- Established FREEHOLD INN, called or known by the Sign of " The Leopard," situate in Great Shambles, York, with tbe Brewhouse and Malt Chamber, together with the Outbuildings and Premises thereto belonging, in the occupation of Mr. Heathcoate; also all that Commodious and Well-Built STABLE, standing immediately behind the above Inn, and occupied at present as a Slaughter House. The above Premises are let on Lease for Seven Years, which will expire on the 25th June next, when Possession can be had. The Tenant will show the Premises, and further Particulars may be obtained on Application to ISAAC BULLIVANT, No. 43, Petergate, York. March, 1849.
