A publican drunk in his own House. William Wilson, landlord of the Nags Head Inn, Heworth road was charged with being drunk on the licensed premises. Fined 10 shillings and costs.
York Herald. 27 October 1877
William Wilson residing at the Nags Head Inn, Heworth road, and late the landlord, was summoned for being drunk on the premises. It appears that the defendant had formerly held the license for the Nags Head Inn, but it had been transferred to his wifes father, William Walker.
He had allowed his daughter, the defendants wife to manage the house.
Fined 10 shillings and costs.
