York Licensing Compensation Authority sat yesterday for four licenses the extinction of which was confirmed at the last meeting.
The Newcastle Inn, North street, Messrs J J Hunt (Limited), £1,330 was claimed, and £1,100 awarded, £100 to the tenant.
The Anchor Inn, Queens Staith, Messrs Bentley, Yorkshire Brewery Co, £531 6s was claimed, and £425 awarded.
