Charges against Publicans - William Ogram, landlord of the Pack Horse, Skeldergate and Matthew Jackson, landlord of the Red Lion, Peaseholm Green, were summoned for allowing drink to be consumed on their premises at unlawful hours on Sunday afternoon last. The former case was dismissed, the latter was fined 2s 6d and costs.

Valuable Ground Rent For Sale. To be Sold by Private Contract,
by order of the Executor of the late C J Skelton Esq, all that well-secured Leasehold Ground Rent of £18 4s, issuing out of valuable premises known as the Red Lion Inn, and Premises situate at Peaseholm Green, near the City of York, now in the occupation of Mrs Jackson, and Mr Wilson, as Under-Tenants or Lessees of Messrs Hotham and Co, Brewers.
This rent-charge is payable by Messrs Hotham and Co, Half-yearly on the 1st February and 1st August, during a term of 15 years from the 1st day of August last, free from Property Tax.
