The York Compensation Authority confirmed the refusal of the licences of the Three Cups, the Brewers Arms, the Black Bull, Walmgate, the Square and Compasses (Long Close lane) and the Leopard Inn (Coney street), all fully licensed houses, which had been reported for extinction.
