Ainsty Petty Sessions: Cowardly Conduct - Robert Walker, striker, was summoned for assaulting Elizabeth Simpson, landlady of the Woodman Inn, Bishopthorpe on the 15th instance, and for being drunk and disorderly. Fined 20 shillings with 30 shillings costs for the assault.
