7 May 1908/The Compensation List: The Old House at Home, Radford Street
owned by Messrs John Richdale and Co Ltd. The reason for being on the list
was that the kitchen was not big enough and was the only living room: the
structure of the house was very unsatisfactory, and the licensee had stated
that the house did not pay, and seemed to get worse. It was suggested it may
well to either pull down or burn down. The house went onto the compensation
list.
