Tuesday 27 September 2022 - Stonegate Media:
The Springvale Tavern in Sheffield has reopened it’s garden, following an investment into the popular pub’s outdoor area.
Receiving a complete transformation, the venue’s new look exterior sees its seating areas revamped giving a new lease of life to the pub’s offering with a fresh new look and feel.
The new look garden sees a large decking area built in the pub’s garden, with large picnic benches added to provide the perfect outdoor location to enjoy a refreshing drink in a warm and welcoming environment. Additionally, a new tent area has been brought in to enable guests to sit outside no matter the weather, so even when we do get those English showers you don’t have to run for cover.
The Springvale Tavern on Commonside has seen some change over the years, with the original Victorian building extended in the 1930s, leaving a rather curious blend of 1890s’ solidity and Metroland red brick leaving an art deco feel to the venue.
The popular Sheffield pub is open everyday from 12pm so it’s the perfect venue to pop in and have a refreshing drink this autumn. The bar stocks quality beers, wines and spirits with well-known local, national and international names. The drinks menu also feature a good choice of interesting low and no-alcohol drinks too.
Entertainment at the pub comes through it’s DJ and Karaoke nights on Friday and Saturday nights, with the always popular beer pong tables providing a great way to let off some steam and have fun with friends and family this autumn. Along with it’s multiple TV screens showing the best and biggest sporting occasions live and in high definition, with the new football season now well underway.
Speaking on the reopening, Operator at The Springvale Tavern, Callum Walton said: “It’s a great feeling to welcome guests back to the pub’s garden once again after the exciting refurbishment. We’re so pleased with how it’s turned out and know that our guests are going to love the improvements made to the outdoor area. Feedback on the refurbishment has been great so far, if you haven’t had a chance to yet, please do pop in and see what we’ve got to offer.”
The Springvale Tavern in Sheffield is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards.
