Hampshire pub history today

I received a number of modern pictures for Winchester today, brilliant. As usual, I tend to update an area when I add updates.

After a few Winchester 1911 census upgrades, I was drawn to a place called Braishfield. After some research I then linked this to Michelmersh, obviously still in the 1911 era, and the census.

Latterly, I was researching other areas in Hampshire, but this time using the 2018 pub listings I have on the site, and latterly the 2017 pubs according to various brewers.

One pub which caught my eye was the Dog and Crook, in Braishfield. But the 2018 listing places it in Eastleigh – that’s it really.

I have added a host of other updates since, and there are more to come.
