More Gloucestershire pub history – Stonehouse

I have made a new friend, Mr Red. This has meant that the Stonehouse area is now being updated heavily. As mentioned previously, that many of the pages were just a few directory entries, but now they are starting to grow quite a lot

Lots of Gloucestershire pub history on the way for the next few days, or so.

Gloucestershire pub history

The pub history site is being updated for Gloucestershire at present.

I cover quite a large area for pub history, not all of this being covered in detail. Gloucestershire was added a number of years ago, but is generally low on the updates radar.

But, now it is. And I have a few new contributors over the past few days.

Minchinhampton pub history seems to be getting the bulk of the updates, as does Chalford, in particular the Clothiers Arms / Valley Inn.

Other areas too are also being updated.

Enjoy.

Worthing & Sussex pub history

I seem to have got stuck in Sussex pub history today, and in particular in Worthing. I have a close cousin in the town of Worthing, for what it is worth, and have therefore visited the town a few times in my past history.

When I visit an area, I tend to see what updates are available for the whole area, and am looking at Sussex in its entirety.

I did add a whole host of detail for Brighton, and this has been largely copied by a Brighton scumbag, but hey ho, this is the norm for me.

I did discover there is a good pub history site for Worthing, and have added a link to them. Their content is all original, and complements what I am adding, but in a different format.
