Richard Bullen is my great grandfather. The pub was originally run by a
William Betteridge Snr, the father of Jane Bullens first husband - William
Betteridge. Alice Bullen was Richard Bullens child by a Caroline Cantle who
died in 1861.
Jane Annette Bullen/ Betteridge (maiden name was Dixon), was the daughter of
John Dixon - see the Falcon in 1851. George
Bullen was the son of Richard and Jane. **
