Ware Division
The White Hart, Baldock street, Ware Urban, full licence, licensee Robert Reynolds; registered owners, Messrs Christie and Co Ltd, The Brewery, Hoddesdon; amount of claim £504; Mr Flints valuation £450. The tenant who had been offered £50, now asked for £250. He had been in the house eight years and paid £30 to go in. He estimated his net profit per week at 16s weekly, and had increased the trade from 40 to 99 barrels. After some discussion the tenants share was fixed at £60, and the owners at £390.
