KNOCKHOLT is a straggling village and parish, 5 miles and a half N.W. from Sevenoaks, and nine miles south from Bromley. The population in 1851 was 578.
The church stands on an elevated situation. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the patronage of the rector of Orpington. The Rev. Joseph Hall is the incumbent. Here is also a small chapel for the Wesleyans.
