Pub of the Week is the Saddle in Dale street, A busy t=yet relaxing meeting place for lunchtime workers or those looking to escape the evening rush hour, There has been a Saddle inn on Dale street for hundreds of years which is why the brewery chose to keep the link when the pub opened nearly a year ago. Since then it has thrived and prospered with licensee Mrs Norma Davey keeping the beer - which is hand pulled - in top condition.
Cask bitter sells at 47p a pint while Bass is 49p.
