Worship Registration certificate number 49127 *

"The Old Five Bells", 152 St Leonard's Street, Bromley-by-Bow, will be used as a place of meeting for religious worship by Baptists from 6th February 1924. *

Certificate submitted by Rev. Arthur Gilbert Adams, Baptist Minister and Director of Medical Mission, of Berger Hall, Empson Street, Bromley-by-Bow. *

The registration was formally cancelled on 21st May 1964, but it may well have fallen out of use (and even demolished!) well before that. There was a big tidying-up exercise carried out on the Worship Register in 1964. *
