My great grandfather, Isaac Matthews, appears in your site in 1881. On his son Frederick's marriage certificate, in May1897, he is described as a "Licensed Victualler", and Frederick's address is given as "The Star, Morris Street, E1", which suggests that Isaac was the licensee at that time. ***
