Botesdale is a hamlet to the parish of Regrave, and small town (the town
consists of BOTESDALE, with portions of the parishes of
RICKINGHALL INFERIOR and RICKINGHALL SUPERIOR adjoining, forming one street of
nearly a mile in length, in Hartismere
union and hundred, on the road from Bury to Norwich.
