Little Blakenham is a village and parish 4 miles north west from Ipswich and 2 south west from Claydon station, in the Eastern division, Bosmere hundred, Bosmere and Claydon union.
The church of St Mary was thoroughly restored in 1868. The register dates from 1723. The population in 1871 was 144.
