A beerhouse previously the Square and Compasses, The Cup and Compass, The Cricket Ground, The Cricketers Arms then the Seven Star. It became the Half Moon by 1872. It was referred for closure by the Compensation Authority in March 1910, and the license was refused in May 1910.
