Applications for extension of time to :
Mr Philip Matthews, York Hotel; Mr G Hilton, Clarence Hotel ; Mr William Thomas, Thomas's Hotel, to be open to twelve o'clock on the nights when there are preformances at the theatre, concerts and entertainments at the Festival Concery Room and the De Grey Rooms, and ball nights to four a.m.
Mr James Pickersgill, City Arms, Cattle Market ; Mr William Chapman, Cattle Market Inn, open to one o'clock on Thursday morning on fortnight fair days and from five to one a.m. on Friday.
Mr George Milner, Wool Pack Inn, Cattle Market, open till twelve on Tuesday and Wednesday before each fortnight fair.
Mr William Kirlew, Locomotive Inn, near St Pauls square, open all Tuesday and wednesday nights preceding the fortnight fairs.
Mr Michael Fletcher, the Lion and Lamb Inn, Blossom street, open till twelve on Tuesday and Wednesday before each fortnight fair, the races, Christmas horse show and the assembling of the cavalry.

The application for an extension of time on behalf of Mrs Mountain, Cross Keys, Goodramgate; Mr Flint, Golden Ball, Bishophill; and Mr Beecham, Jacobs Well, Trinity lane, were refused.
To Mr McLaren an extension of twelve o'clock was granted to Mrs McLaren of Market street; Mr Thomas Parkinson, Golden Lion, Thursday market; and the Black Bull, on Saturday nights, Martinmas fair and the races.
A renewal took place in the case of Mr J Horsley, of the Leopard, Coney street, but those on behalf of Mr James Sowden, of the Ebor Vaults, Church street, and to Mr Coleman, of the Clock, Parliament street, were refused.
Mr Whitwell, of the Half Moon, Blake street, made application to keep his house open on ball nights, and during concerts, the training of the Yorkshire Hussars etc, and was granted.
